1. High-Voltage Conversion Already Built In
A negative ion generator needs a high-voltage source to drive its emitters. Our pack contains that conversion stage in a separate assembly, reducing the high-voltage circuitry your team needs to develop on the main PCB. The existing board supplies low-voltage power; the pack produces the output for the carbon brushes.
This makes the pack a practical way to add negative-ion generation to an established product design. Your control board can retain the appliance’s operating logic, with the high-voltage function supplied by MAXMAC.
2. A Simple Low-Voltage Connection
The F12DVS (AMK25) accepts 11–13 VDC and provides a −3.0 to −4.0 kV DC output. It connects through power leads with an XH2.54-2Y terminal, giving a 12 V product design a straightforward electrical interface to the ion-generating assembly.
Input current is <25 mA and rated power is <0.3 W. That small power demand makes it easier to accommodate the added function in compact equipment. The high-voltage conversion stays within the pack instead of taking up circuit area on the host board.
3. Separate Emitters Make Packaging Easier
The two carbon-brush emitter heads connect to the pack by leads. The pack body and the ion release points therefore do not have to occupy the same mounting position. In an air purifier, for example, the body can sit inside the enclosure while the brushes sit closer to the air outlet.
This arrangement gives your team more freedom to work with the product’s existing internal layout. The compact pack is easier to accommodate where a larger ionizer assembly would take space needed by other components.
4. An Add-On for Air-Treatment Products
The same pack-and-emitter arrangement offers a starting point for several appliance designs. MAXMAC supplies the high-voltage assembly for integration with the customer’s own controller.
Air Purifiers
Separate emitter heads allow ion generation near the outlet while the compact pack fits inside the housing.
Air Conditioners & HVAC
A standalone high-voltage assembly supports an ion-generation option alongside the equipment’s existing controller.
Refrigerators
The compact pack gives refrigerator designs an ion-generation option that takes up little space inside the appliance.
Dehumidifiers & Clothes Dryers
Separate carbon brushes can reach the air path while the high-voltage pack sits near the appliance electronics.
Humidifiers
Lead-connected emitters allow the pack body to sit separately from the mist outlet, making the assembly easier to fit into the housing.
Compact Fan Heaters
The small pack body provides more mounting flexibility around the fan and heating assembly.
Cyclonic Vacuum Cleaners
Remote emitter heads fit near the exhaust without requiring the entire high-voltage pack to sit at the outlet.
Washing and Drying Appliances
The high-voltage stage comes in a separate pack, reducing the circuitry needed on the appliance’s main control board.
Compact Air-Treatment Equipment
Low power demand helps accommodate an additional ion-generation function in products with limited internal space.
5. MAXMAC F12DVS (AMK25)
The F12DVS (AMK25) brings this approach into a compact high-voltage pack with two carbon-brush emitters. It is designed for customer-developed control boards and is available with a product specification covering the electrical interface and output measurements.
Negative Ion High-Voltage Pack
- Input
- 11–13 VDC
- Output
- −3.0 to −4.0 kV DC
- Input current
- <25 mA
- Rated power
- <0.3 W
At 12 VDC, the product specification reports a negative-ion concentration of ≥3.0 × 106 pcs/cm3 measured 150 mm from the emitter. Ozone is below 0.05 ppm under the documented product test conditions. These are pack-level measurements.
